It is shown that an absolutely irreducible homogeneous cubic polynomialfset membership, variantZ[x0, x1, x2] is also absolutely irreducible mod pifp>1248H6whereHis the height off. Modulo a general number theoretic conjecture an example shows that the result is best possible.
