Abstract
We will study the group of automorphisms of the function fields of the curvesxn+ym+1=0, forn≠m. This groups is bigger thanμ(n)×μ(m) in casem n. If moreovern−1 is a power of the characteristic, then the group order exceeds the Hurwitz bound.
