Nurse practitioner education in the new millennium: Challenges and opportunities

This article identifies challenges and opportunities facing nurse practitioner education from the viewpoint of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties. Trends for the new millennium are identified as well as forces that will shape future nurse practitioner education and practice.
