A two-zone wet electrostatic precipitator development

New Clean Air Acts have created an application area for wet electrostatic precipitation technology as an add-on polishing control device for poor performance wet scrubbers. An existing wet scrubber already provides the water system for gas cooling/saturation required to operate a wet electrostatic precipitator (wet ESP). Therefore the greatest system installation complication and cost factor is eliminated and a wet ESP becomes the most efficient, cost effective solution.
