Abstract
A regional program conducted Cleaner Production training for business managers around Southeast Asia from 1993 to 1996. The training programs developed are described. Participants were surveyed after the training to identify what aspects of the training they found to be the most useful. A majority said that basic business improvement and management communication methods that were described as aids to CP implementation were among the most useful topics. The conclusion is that CP training programs should not just focus on technical approaches, but should also include a significant amount of basic business improvement methods.
