Transversal Bounded Solutions in Systems with Normal and Slow Variables

Bifurcation of transversal bounded solutions is investigated for a pair of autonomous ordinary differential equations with periodic perturbations when the first unperturbed equation has a homoclinic solution and the second unperturbed equation is vanishing. Such systems of equations naturally arise in certain weakly coupled systems and in certain systems with slowly varying coefficients.
