Abstract :
Based on the results of indoor photoreactor studies, photochemical mechanisms have been developed for the tropospheric degradation of dimethoxymethane (DMM) and dimethoxyethane (DMET) in the presence of NOx. The constructed reaction schemes have been tested by comparison of computer simulations and experimental data. For both investigated compounds, experimental and modelling results are in excellent agreement. A sensitivity analysis was performed for the reaction systems. These calculations highlight the key reactions of the treated chemical models
