Abstract :
"Al-wujuh wa al-nazaʹir" is a branch of Quranic science which studies commentaries of Quranic words by consideration of: 1. circumstances of descent (Asb?b al-nuz?l), and 2. rules of the Arabic language. There are many works written in this subject. The authors of these books evidently refer to their beliefs and special views instead of making use of definite principles of interpretation. Sunni commentators explain words from Sunni point of view, and so do Shiite commentators. This leads to arbitrary definition of Quranic words so everyone can employ them as he wishes to prove his opinion. Thus, it seemed necessary to study the manner of these books in order to distinguish the true from false.
Arabic abstract :
علم «الوجوه والنظاير» من العلوم القرآنيه التي تتصدي لتفسير الفاظ آي الذكر الحكيم بالاستعانه باسباب النزول وعلم اللغه وغيرهما، فقد ذكِرت للفظ واحد قد تكرر في مواضع من القرآن الكريم معان شتي سميت بالوجوه، وهذه الوجوه تشتمل علي مصاديق خاصه تارهً او معان مجازيه او معان مترادفه تاره اخري. ثم دونت في هذا العلم كتب كثيره تحمل اسم «الوجوه والنظاير». واما منهجيه هذه الكتب فغير واضحه المباني، فانها رغم كثرتها لم تستند علي اسس معينه علميه، وان كان اصحابها قد اعتمدوا في عملهم علي الشعر واللغه والآيات القرآنيه ظاهراً. وهذا الامر قد يفضي الي الاختلاف في تفسير كلمه واحده، ويبدو اثره في تفسير القرآن الكريم. فمن هنا جا ت ضروره التعرض لدراسه حول المصنفات في هذا العلم ومسالكها في تفسير الالفاظ القرآنيه. فحاولت المقاله هذه عبر منهج وصفي ـ نقدي، ان تناقش اهذه الكتب وتوضّح خصايصها.
