Abstract
ABSTRACT: Weed population is increasing in wheat farms in Alashtar area, Lorestan, Iran
annually. So an experiment was conductedduring order to study effects of different herbicides on
weed population in this area in 2009-2010 years. The experimental design was a randomized
complete block with fourreplications. The treatments were including Teribenuron, 2-4-D,
Solfusolfurun, Teribenuron + 2-4-D, Mesosulfuron+ Sulfosulfuron, Bromocinil + MCPA
andTriasolfurun + Terbuterin. The result showed that, the best treatments were Mesosulfuron+
Sulfosulfuron and Teribenuron + 2-4-D by 92%damage to weed. Also, the highest M.chamomillal dry
weights (3.8 and 5.8 g/m2) were achieved from those plots which were treated by 2-4-D and
Bromocinil + MCPA, respectively so that there was significant difference between these treatments
and control treatment. The results demonstrated that, Parsley (Torgenialatifolia L.)was controlled by
2-4-D and Teribenuron + 2-4-D alsoParsley population was decreased to 0 and 1 plant.m-2 in these
treatments. While Solfusolfurun, Bromocinil + MCPA and Triasolfurun + Terbuterin had not
significant effect on Parsleypopulation and dry weight of this weed was more than3 g/m2.
