Mass movements Hazard Zonation with Analyzing Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method (Karaj- Chalus Road- of Kandovan – Chal us)

ABSTRACT: Preparation of landslide susceptibility maps is important for engineering geologists and geomorphol ogi st s. Amang vari ous model s , a r esearch st udy wi t h obj ect i ve of recogni zi ng f act or af f ect i ng l andsl i de and det ermi nat i on of l ands wi t h f uzzy t o i t s occurrence was conduct ed t o prepar e landslide zonation map for the Karaj - Chalus Road- of Kandovan –Chalus analytical hi erarchy method. In order to determine the most important factor affecting mass movements different were pr epared di gi t al l y usi ng aeri al phot os wi t h scal e of 1: 50000 f or t he year of 1960 and 2008 respect i vel y t oget her wi t h f i el d checks usi ng GPS . Then Pr eparat i on of l andsl i de suscept i bi l i t y map usi ng Hi er archi cal Anal ysi s Process (AHP) Method. Results of this study show that considering numer ous f act ors f or l andsl i de eval uat i on at t he same t i me i n compari son t o t he ot her preval ent method and i nvestigation showed that most recorded landslides in the area has occurred i n zones marked as susceptible in the offered model.
