The role of effective factors in sustainable agricultural system-A case study of Minudashat in Iran

ABSTRACT: Sustainable agriculture is an inevitable component of food and fiber production which has to meet economic requirements while ensuring environmental integrity. The aim of this paper is to identify factors that influence sustainability in agricultural sector of Minudashat region of Iran. The method involved is descriptive-survey of a random sample consisting of 200 selected from the producers through administration of survey questionnaires, the data of which was analyzed by usingCochranʹ formula within the SPSS environment .Scouting test was carried out to verify the validity and reliability components, the results of which showed aCronbachʹ Alfa coefficient of 82%. Results showed the importance ofsustainability of agricultural which from the point of view of this study can be achieved by enhancement of five agricultural-production-related components such as, social-participation, infrastructural support services, ecological, Sustainable agronomical operations-orientation and economical productivity and their 22 associated variables in Minudashat showing over 78% variance.
