Efficient synthesis of biologically important chiral 2-alkylamino benzoxazinones

A novel general method has been developed for the synthesis of various amino acid derived chiral 2-substituted benzoxazinones, known inhibitors of standard serine proteases of the chymotrypsin superfamily.
