Abstract :
Cooperative learning is perhaps the most researched and most misunderstood teaching method in the past 30 years. Aim of this research was to describe what general education teachers think about cooperative learning as an instructional approach for students. This study investigated whether experience in cooperative learning program influences on graduate agricultural students learning. The descriptive survey approach was used in this study. The purpose of this study was to learn more about the reason why teachers chose to implement, or not to implement cooperative method in process of teaching. The population consists of agricultural faculty of academic staff of Tarbiat Modares university (N=61). In this study Data collected by questionnaire. Validity of instrument was established using a panel of expert. A pilot test was conducted to determine the questionnaireʹs reliability (Coronbach’s alpha=0.89). The findings of this study indicate that Responses were reported on a five-point Likert scale (1=Strongly Agree to 5=Strongly Disagree) their perception toward implementing cooperative showed greatest mean amount of succeed in using cooperative learning depends on receiving support from my colleague, and also cooperative learning places too much emphasis on developing students’ social skills. A significant, moderate positive relationship existed between ages, years of teaching, and also academic staff that were participated in workshop training in cooperative learning and perception about implementing cooperative learning.
