Abstract :
Differents forms of callus induction and proliferation of it, also planlet regeneration via somatic embryogenesis and shoot organogenesis in cotton is reported here. MSB medium with vast renge of auxins and cytokinins was proper for callus induction. Embryogenic calli that formed on MSB medium with 0.1 mg/l (IAA + KIN + 2,4-D) and 0.1 mg/l (KIN + 2,4-D) differrentiated to plantlets when transferred to MSB medium with 1 mg/l glutamine and 0.5 mg/l asparagine and then germinated when transferred to half-strength MS medium. A range of KIN solely and with BA based on explants type caused to multiple shoots in shoot apex explants and few callusing in hypocotyl explants. Regenerated shoots from shoot apex with two cotyledons on MSB medium with 0.5 mg/l KIN rooted on the same medium (0.5 mg/l KIN). But regenerated shoots from shoot apex without cotyledons needed to transfer on medium containing NAA and KIN. On MSB medium with 2 mg/l BA and 1 mg/l KIN Multiple shoots induced on shoot apex explants
