Abstract :
We describe the synthesis and enzymatic activity of a library of β-carboxamido phosphonates as inhibitors of imidazole glycerol phosphate dehydratase (IGPD). Biological results suggest the presence of an enzymatic interaction site not previously observed for other inhibitors of IGPD.
