Abstract :
This study was designed in order to investigation the genetic diversity of wheat genotypes, an experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications at the Agricultural Research Station of Islamic Azad University of Ardabil. The results showed that there are significant differences among 10 wheat genotypes studied traits of fertile tillers, number of spikes per square meter, grain weight per spike, peduncle weight, days to flowering, days to maturity, harvest index, grain yield (at the 1% level) and biological yield, grain weight (at the 5% level) which indicates there is variation among the genotypes studied. But there is no significant difference in terms of characteristics of infertile tillers, plant height and peduncle length, and this Suggests that the studied genotypes of these traits are close to each other. Coefficients of variation (CV%), except for plant height and tiller number of infertile for other traits were below 20% which indicate the high accuracy of measurement or low experimental error. Based on results of cluster analysis and principal components, genotypes 2 and 3 had high value in terms of all evaluated characteristics except peduncle weight, in other words, they were genotypes with filled paws and with little infertility paws and had high performance compared with other genotypes.
