Abstract :
Parks are one of the most important elements in the urban landscape.Green spaces, as key components of urban ecosystems, contribute to sustainable development, landscape and environmental quality, quality of life, and citizen health. Therefore, importance of green space in urban life, its stability and the effects of physical, social, natural and urban systems is undeniable.There is a challenge for park managers to manage such lands in ways that provide maximum benefits to city residents by seeking shortcuts to increase productivity in the era of tight budget. One way of understanding citizen expectations is measuring citizen satisfaction of the current state of the entertainment spaces.This study aims to reveal the satisfaction criteria of users by using linear multivariable regression in significant green spaces of Shiraz namely Azadi, Jannat, Rasavy, Kohpayeh, Mellat and Hashemi parks. The results show that green spaces are the most important criteria that affect citizensʹ satisfaction with the quality services of urban parks and then there is location, protection of green space, diversity of services, sense of social security, drinker, bench, number of police, costs of services, protection of park facilities, responsibility, information boards, furniture layout of Park, ability to engage with citizens, WC, variety of social programs, informing about programs and park facilities and car parking, respectively.
