Abstract :
Routing Protocols take the geographical positions of nodes into consideration in order to make routing decisions in ad-hoc wireless networks. In such protocols, the source node needs to know the location of the destination node to send data package. So, location service algorithms are used for the purpose of identifying the location of nodes. Routing based on the location does not need to establish and maintain routes. DFLS method is considered to be a distributed and fault tolerant location service in ad-hoc networks which can replace the location methods of service which are based on hierarchical explicit Quorum; in these methods, there might not be any nodes at the considered place for location servers. Thus in this paper, an approach is proposed for determining the location of server nodes which significantly increases the success of query packets.
