Qahvekhane as a collective Communication network and public sphere

Qahvekhane as a collective communication network and public sphere has during its fourhundred years-old history had various roles and functions within public, news exchange, cultural and social aspects consistent with social circumstances. Hence, investigating the functions and aspects of qahvekhane as an influential network has a fundamental and strategic importance. Until a few decades ago, this social network has played an important role in regulating social relations and interactions, collective beliefs, strengthening national identity and social solidarity, setting news and thought exchange, public debate and cultural values. This paper, using a descriptive - analytical approach aims to analyze a few aspects of this forgotten social network from a historical and social communication perspective
