Abstract :
The biotransformation of baccatin VI (1) and 1β-hydroxybaccatin I (2) with the filamentous fungus Aspergillus niger produced four new taxane diterpenoids taxumairol S1 (3), taxumairol T1 (4) and taxumairol S (5), taxumairol T (6), respectively. 1β-Dehydroxybaccatin VI (7) remained unreacted under the same condition.
