Bounds for the Roots of Lacunary Polynomials

A polynomial P(X) = Xd + ad − 1Xd − 1 + is called lacunary when ad − 1 = 0. We give bounds for the roots of such polynomials with complex coefficients. These bounds are much smaller than for general polynomials.
