Buergerʹs disease with intestinal involvement

Here I describe three cases of intestinal Buergerʹs disease and review previously reported cases. All patients had involvement of the extremities and clinical manifestations of Buergerʹs disease. Occlusive changes in intestinal arteries also occurred, in both the presence and absence of abdominal symptoms. Intestinal Buergerʹs disease may be asymptomatic, acute, or chronic, and treatment varies according to the type of disease.
