Quantum Molecular Dynamics Simulations of Dense Matter

We have developed a quantum molecular dynamics simulation method for treating dense plasmas and a variety of other systems. The approach treats the electrons fully quantum mechanically and the nuclei classically. Applications include H plasmas, alkali metal fluids, rare gas compression, mixtures, impurities in plasmas, and shock-compressed hydrocarbons.
