Abstract :
Double right coronary artery is a rare congenital anomaly, which is usually considered to be benign but potentially hazardous when atherosclerotic process superimposes. Coronary angiography has been a domain for the diagnosis of this entity, but it lacks three-dimensional comprehension of the coronary artery system, and it cannot differentiate double right coronary artery from a large right ventricular branch. Multi-detector row computed tomography (MDCT) provides ability of not only depicting three-dimensional anatomy of the coronary artery system but also detecting concomitant atherosclerotic plaques. Thus, MDCT may become a routine diagnostic tool for coronary artery anomalies including double right coronary artery.
