  • Abstract
    It is proved that for a minimal nonsingular projective surface S of general type over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic p>0, every abelian subgroup G Aut(S)red with order prime to p has order ≤624KS2+6708, where KS is the canonical divisor of S.
