The A+XB[X] and A+XB[[X]] constructions from GCD-domains

Let Asubset of or equal toB be an extension of integral domains and let X be an indeterminate. We study the transfer of the notion of PVMD and GCD-domains to the domains A+XB[X] and A+XB[[X]].
