Hochschild-Serre spectral sequences of split extensions and cohomology of some extra-special p-groups Original Research Article

Let G be an extra-special p-group and let A be a maximal subgroup of G. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the Hochschild-Serre spectral sequence of the extension 1 → A → G → G/A → 1 and to obtain the cohomology of G, in the cases where p = 2, or p> 2 and G congruent with E(p3), the extra-special p-group of order p3 and exponent p.
