Leader to Watch: Daniel J. Pesut, APRN, BC, PhD, FAAN

Daniel J. Pesut, APRN, BC, PhD, FAAN, is an exceptional nurse leader and scholar. He is a futurist, strategic and creative thinker, lifelong learner, knowledge developer, and extraordinary achiever. I have had the pleasure to know Dan for about a decade now, and I am always impressed by his charisma, courage, self-assurance, vast knowledge, presence, thoughtfulness, mindfulness, and gentleness. I am drawn to his engaging character that never ceases to encourage others to excel and inspire them to pursue uncharted territories. In the following first-person article, Dan discusses some of his experiences and leadership characteristics, as well as his thoughts on creative thinking, future think, and renewal.
