Simple algorithms about Kronecker products in the linear model Original Research Article

Most matrices occurring in the linear model can be represented as Kronecker products of identity matrices and matrices with all elements equal to 1. Such matrices consist of 0ʹs or 1ʹs in some regular arrangement. Using this regularity, such matrices can be obtained by a simple rule. Also, an algorithm for computing sums of squares without storing the design matrix is described.
