On representations of lie algebras for quantized hamiltonians

We prove that the Lie algebra Ls:[K+, K−] = sK0, [K0, K±] = ±K±, where s is a real number, K0 is a Hermitian diagonal operator, and K+ = K†− has nontrivial matrix representations if and only if s 0.
