A characterization of triangularizability of a linear associative algebra Original Research Article

Let A be a linear associative K-algebra with unity, K an algebraically closed field. The following is proved: A is triangularizable if and only if the set of (multiplicative) nonunits of A is a union of finitely many subspaces of A.
