Equivalence constants for matrix norms: a problem of Goldberg Original Research Article

We investigate the equivalence constants for the lp-coefficient norms and lq-operator norms (1less-than-or-equals, slantp,qless-than-or-equals, slant∞) of complex m×n matrices, and provide estimates which are either best possible or close to best possible.
