On block completion problems for Arov-normalized jqq−Jq-elementary factors Original Research Article

The interest in analyzing Arov-normalized jqq−Jq-elementary factors is mainly caused by the fact that given a nondegenerate matricial Carathéodory problem there is a unique nondegenerate Arov-normalized jqq−Jq-elementary factor which (via linear fractional transformation of the matricial Schur class) generates a description of the solution set. The main goal of this paper is to study canonical block completion problems for Arov-normalized jqq−Jq-elementary factors.
