Composition of quadratic forms and the Hurwitz–Radon function in characteristic 2 Original Research Article

The counterpart of the classical Hurwitz–Radon function over fields of characteristic 2 is obtained, by relying on basic properties of the spin representations and involutions of Clifford algebras. Specific “optimal” compositions of quadratic forms will be constructed from any regular quadratic form with trivial discriminant and Clifford invariant.
