Necessary conditions of Hurwitz polynomials

In this paper, we obtain some necessary conditions for a polynomial with positive coefficients to be stable. As consequences, we obtain sufficient conditions for a polynomial to be unstable. The results of this paper generalize the recent results obtained in [Linear Algebra Appl. 338 (2001) 67].
