The peripheral spectrum of a nonnegative matrix Original Research Article

In this paper we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for a collection of Jordan blocks to correspond to the peripheral spectrum of a nonnegative matrix. We arrive at our condition by linking the Tam–Schneider condition to the level sets (with respect to the spectral radius) of a nonnegative matrix.
