Matrices that preserve the value of the generalized matrix function of the upper triangular matrices Original Research Article

Let H be a subgroup of the symmetric group Sn and χ an irreducible character of H. In this paper we give conditions that characterize matrices that leave invariant the value of a given generalized matrix function on the set of upper triangular matrices. In some cases we describe completely these matrices.
