A stabilization criterion for matrices Original Research Article

Given a simple linear system image which is unstable in the sense that A has eigenvalues in the closed right-half of the complex plane, it is shown how the system can be dilated to a stable system of larger size. The cases of real matrices and complex matrices are considered separately.
