sc-Open Sets and sc-Continuity in Topological Spaces

In this paper we introduce a new class of sets, called sc- sets, and the notion of sc-continuity and investigate some properties and characterizations. In particular, sc-sets and sc-continuity are used to extend known results for semi-open sets and semi-continuity.
