Abstract :
This study featured the roles from four major views of agricultural extension, that is farmers,
researchers, trainers and extension experts and the population included all farmers and experts of
education, extension and research of country in which one province from each region was randomly
chosen on the basis of the project of adjacent provinces of agriculture department and country division. In
the chosen province, 893255 farmers and 863experts tocks part as explained 385 of farmers and 198 of
administrative experts chosen by satisfied sampling filled the validated and reliable questionnaire, I,e.,
research instrument.
The obtained data were analyzed with soft ware SPSS win 15. The present study is on casual
communicative research which the dependent variable is on the basis of agreement of these who
answered 59 question related to agricultural development, and independent variable included 13 variables
(the roles of interest group needs on production cases, increasing farmers participation in activities
related to improving a unit, the amount of transferring the resulted effects of presenting technology to
related units, the rate of making a communicative net between experts, policy makers and farmers, the
rate of marketing improving and giving essential advices for applying agricultural machinery), and also
about 75 question related to developing roles of extension were obtained from their agreement through
(Kruskal- Wallis). In regression, the variable of extension had 84.3% of variance related to agricultural
developing that the participation, making a communicative net between experts, policy makers and
farmers, decreasing loss and helping to improve the farmers economic opportunities were the extensions
effective activities in agricultural development from view of those who answered. Also the variable of
marketing improvement ,transfer of technology and problem-solving and reflecting it to related
authorities, transferring resulted effect of presenting technology to related units, helping improving
subunit and giving essential advices for applying agricultural development of our country. In explaining
the model of on-research, human resource development had the most direct effect and then transferring
technology, increasing the public participation and making a communicative net between experts, policy
makers and farmers had the most indirect effect on the variable of agricultural development.
