Abstract :
Biodiversity is at loss mainly due to human-induced factors, lh protected forest areas, conservation or depletion of biological resources is often linked with the tribals inhabiting such areas. Traditional life of the tribals is more conservative in approach, whereas their non-traditional way of living is essentially destructive to biodiversity. Therefore, promoting traditional life of the tribals inhabiting the forest areas, by improving the availability of natural products and benefits, will help conserve both the ethnic background and biological resources of the ecosystem.
