Abstract
Erodium paularense Fdez. Glez. & Izco (Geraniaceae) is an endangered endemic of Central Spain. The characteristics of the habitat and the surrounding area of the three populations currently known are described. Demographic studies in one of the populations detected the presence of natural regeneration and no signs of intraspecific competition. A significant regression between vegetative growth and potential reproductive output was found. Some interactions with other organisms, especially those which may interfere with its reproduction, are described. In accordance with the results of this study some conservation measures are suggested.
