Abstract
A new complex fðNH4Þ2$½Ca4ðH2OÞ18ðCH3COOÞ2 $fCa@½MoVI
10MoV8
O52ðOHÞ4ðCH3COOÞ2 g$16H2Ogn (1) has been synthesized and
characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and XPS (X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy). Single crystal X-ray analysis showed a
novel 1D ladder-like assembly of the Mo18 polyanions in it, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P-1 (No. 2), aZ10.441(2),
bZ15.126(3), cZ15.300(3) A ° , aZ109.91(3), bZ100.48(3), gZ100.60(3)8, VZ2153.5(7) A ° 3, ZZ1. A total of 9677 unique data were
refined to values of R1 and wR2 of 4.70 and 9.84%, respectively.
