The Activities for Authority Control in EDIT16: Authors, Publishers/Printers, Devices, and Places

This paper presents experiences with authority control within the project Census of Italian 16th Century Editions (EDIT16) carried on by ICCU (Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico) with the cooperation of 1,200 library institutions all over Italy.
