Abstract :
The paper describes the processes used to examine the effectiveness of less experienced teachersʹ participation in experienced teachersʹ classes on English as a foreign language (EFL) teachersʹ skills and strategies. For this purpose, 21 EFL teachers teaching Elementary and Pre-intermediate courses were selected according to available sampling in KISH Language School in Bojnurd, a city in the Northeast of Iran. Data analysis and statistical calculations through Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test revealed that less-experienced teachersʹ participation in experienced teachersʹ classes had a significant effect on EFL teachersʹ skills and strategies used in their classroom and made them reflect on their own teaching.
