Abstract
This study aimed to the production of construction materials resistant to radioactivity in different specifications. For this purpose lead, wood and polymer plates, fly ash, epoxy resin and barite were used in manufacturing insulation materials at different rates. Thermal conductivities, sound insulations and radioactive penetration of panels with different thickness were tested. It was resulted that usage of wood and fly ash had a positive effect on the engineering properties of insulation panels. Since radioactive permeability was measured lower on samples containing barite. These samples should be preferred for walls and coverings of medical buildings places which are exposed to radioactive effect.
