OPINIONS AMONG SUPPLY CHAIN PARTNERS IN KERALA – A STUDY ON AYURVEDIC PRODUCTS

Ayurveda is the ancient Indian medical science, the origin of which can be traced back to more than 5000 years. The source of Ayurveda is the Vedas, the oldest available classics. The Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala is one of the pioneers in the field of Ayurveda It is manufacturing and selling more than 500 products through its 20 branches and about 1200 dealers. This institution is the top most in sales of Kerala State (more than 50% share) and in reputation also it is the best in National and global level. This study was aimed at understanding how effectively the Arya Vydya Sala is managing their distribution by looking at the opinions among the partners. The study came out with useful findings for the organization.
