Abstract :
Nutraceuticals are used for bridging the gap between food and medicine but very few people are aware of Nutraceuticals. Thus, the present paper aims to determine the awareness, perception and usage of Nutraceuticals by adults in Mohali. For this the survey using Random convenient sampling was conducted through Close ended Questionnaire. The survey will follow the two-stage sampling design, with the Mohali as the primary stage unit and the customers as secondary units. The study uses ANOVA and Factor analysis test to test the same. It was found that Awareness regarding Nutraceuticals has to be created among the customers as majority of the customers are not aware of the Nutraceuticals and Awareness regarding Nutraceuticals is more in males than in females. The study also found that among the aware respondents, majority of them use Nutraceuticals regularly. In the users category also, males dominate females.
