Pseudospectral beam-propagation method for optical waveguides

We propose a wide-angle pseudospectral beam-propagation method using the Pade approximant operator for strongly guiding and longitudinally varying optical waveguides. We validate the numerical results of our method by comparison against results obtained from a robust and widely used finite-element beam-propagation method.
