Abstract
The aim of this paper is to investigate existence, uniqueness and qualitative properties of the weak and piecewise classical solutions of the diffraction problem for weakly coupled reaction–diffusion systems. Monotony and stability with respect to the time variable of the weak solutions is proved. As an application is considered a model reaction–diffusion system describing an enzyme sensor for concentration of phenol in the chemical industry.
